the more chaos ensues in crystal towers, the more excited i am to LEAVE. i think after tonight i'm officially at the "i can't wait" point. why? because my car was towed. my car full of boxes to unload in the new house, WHILE i was baking a birthday treat for my new roommate. that sucks! and i'm mad!
why was i towed? because i parked in an illegal spot.
why did i park in an illegal spot? because i thought the company on the sign would have 9-5 hours, i had groceries to unload, the parking lot had no empty spots left and i couldn't carry all the groceries from a street spot, and because i was only going to be inside for an hour or so to bake cupcakes and then was leaving to deliver them to my new roomie for her birthday.
i'm not a complainer by nature, but this really got me all riled up. summer months are tight with money. we dental students don't get any money allocated for loans over the summer so i live watching the little money i have in the bank dwindling little by little, and moving this summer (and paying double rent for june) is making it harder. so the worst part about being towed isn't so much the fact that i was towed as the $115 dollar fee to get my little willamena back from the car pound! poor thing. i'm sure she's lonely and wondering why i abandoned her.
i can't wait to be in the new house where even though we have 2 garage parking spots for 3 spots, it means most of the time i won't have to worry! it'll be nice to not need to search for parking spots every time i drive somewhere.
