yes, when i have free time, i do really enjoy reading. and i have absolutely no shame in admitting that i enjoy an easy read like the twilight series. i love getting lost in a good book and i can easily pick one of these up and not want to put it down until i'm finished! (just ask my sister...) they're just so fun to read- i don't have any vampires or werewolves making my life more interesting, and i'm past those awkward teenage years, so i enjoy the escapism.
i think new moon was my favorite book in the series so far (now having read three...yeah, next post is the book review on eclipse, haha). it was a darker story than twilight, with bella going through heartache and the pain of losing her "soulmate" edward, but i really liked how jacob entered into the story. his character is light-hearted, adorable and an all around good, likeable character. jacob of course, also falls in love with bella which complicates things, but when the main character is as boring and utterly helpless as she is, it's nice to have a character you can like just as himself and not for the story revolving around him. i did think the story line in this book was less predictable though and much more imaginative then, say, book number three.
and even though jacob's personality thus far is endearing, i'm still team edward. what can i say? i'm a sucker for true love.
