skating into spring

last weekend (no more midterms- yess!) was awesome. i didn't study for even one minute. friday night i hung out with vinh, a friend from school. we grabbed dinner at ted's montana grill (my first real meal there- delicious!), and then just hung out for awhile. i went to bed sort of early, because i had to get up at the uncharacteristically early hour of 5:20am to assist for one of the D4's on her board exam. i ended up being at school for about 11 hours, and even though it was a long day it was really helpful to know what to expect for when it's my turn in a couple years.

thennn, saturday night i met up with about a bunch (like 15 of us?) of friends from church alll the way out in reston, va for dinner and ice skating. it was SUCH a good time. the food was great, the company was in lively spirits, and the ice skating had no time limit, so we got to skate for about 2.5 hours. it was nice and warm out too, which made the night all the more enjoyable. (you don't get ice skating outdoors + warmer weather when you're from wisco. it just doesn't happen that way.) so, here are a couple pics from saturday night. enjoy!
