the 50 most stressful colleges...

i'm not sure how they actually did the rankings on these in terms of surveying students (i guess they're based upon the facts gathered- crime rate, cost, competition in acceptance, academic ranking as well as engineer ranking...), but...

my alma mater northwestern university is ranked number 10 in the US for highest stress level.

yeah, that sounds about right.

the article actually talks about suicide rates and stress (particularly in science and engineering programs, which are said to have more stressed out students- i can vouch for that!), but that's depressing, so let's look at the positives.

regardless of stress, my years at northwestern were some of the best years of my life! i was challenged in every aspect of my life- relationships, faith, academically- and learned how to overcome challenges. i met incredibly driven, down to earth, loving and caring people who i know will be lifelong friends of mine. they always inspire me to strive to be better and to give back more...after all, "to those whom much is given, much is expected," and i certainly am blessed.
