i'm watching heidi's kitten mia this week while she's at home in wisconsin, and here are just a few of the ways mia has filled my life with joy:

-hey mia, remember when you got yourself locked in the bathroom cabinets and i thought something was broken because there were loud banging noises coming from under the sink?

-i found your green shiny puff ball, finally! how did you get it beneath the couch cushions?

-i didn't think you could fit behind my desk drawers.

up to no good. this kitten can fit just about anywhere!

-i was so proud of you when you caught that fly!

-i found ten paper balls under the oven. they are all currently back, beneath the oven.

-who taught you that licking the condensation off my glass was good kitty manners?

-just as it isn't appropriate for me to use the toilet while someone is cleaning it, you should wait until i am done scooping to start using your litter box

-finally, when you woke me up at 7:30 on saturday by licking me inside my ear? well, don't do that again. kitty wet willies, heidi must have told you to do that.
