because God is love

 because we always need a reminder that it's not us who make ourselves worthy of the love of Christ. no one can make themselves that holy, that good, to ever be deserving of such unending love.

because we all stumble, we all fall short. none of us is good enough. only Jesus has lived a perfect, sinless life.

because we aren't strong enough to fight the good fight alone...we need to ask Jesus to carry us through our trials, to make us stronger, to mold us and shape us throughout our lives to be more and more reflecting of His image...to be more and more like Him.

because it breaks my heart to think of people feeling unworthy of love.

because in the end, it isn't about us. it's about Him. loving Him, worshipping Him, giving up our earthly lives to glorify Him for saving us after death.


because i want to wish you a happy (early) valentine's day!

and because i want you to know that in spite of being flawed, broken and unworthy of love, you are, in fact, loved. immensely. you are God's creation, and through accepting Jesus' death, His sacrifice on the cross, you are made loveable, whole and perfect.
