sunny sundays

i love sundays. this is why (as if you care).



i typically start off the day by sleeping in, at least a little bit. enough to get a good 8 hours, which doesn't happen often enough. then i make myself a cup of vanilla chai tea (mmm! smells so nice, tastes great and warms me right up), and sit at my computer, start some work and listen to worship music. i wish i could start off every day like this! it seems like the past month or so all the sundays have been sunny outside, because the sun streams into my bedroom window and i think about how nice it would be to be outside, but then i remember how cozy i am in my room and how much work i have to do and rethink that thought.

then, around noon, i get to turn off the worship music and turn on nfl sunday as my background noise. this makes my dad and sister really proud of me. this also makes them think i really care a lot about football (i like it, but i really only watch if it's the packers or northwestern and is a close game or is a big game with something really important on the line). then, i still have church to look forward to! i get excited because i get to see all my favorite people all at once, i love frontline's worship, todd philips rarely lets me down with his to-the-point and relevant sermons and when i leave to go home i'm just filled with love and contentment in life. the only bad part about sundays is that they are followed by mondays...
